Texturas, colores, continentes y contenidos

approach the shore,… to gain strength and contemplate the path that remains to be traveled,…

but also to look back, where that other half of the contents of the glass is located,

it is at least if not rewarding,… pacifying.

Having the ability to contemplate what provokes the meaning of life that today summons us as a final utopian destination on our journey is almost a privilege and ends up being the very meaning of that journey.

and it is in that contemplation, sometimes (the least, perhaps because in the inverse proportion of that pettiness in its granting, it is where it ends up being valued the most, who knows ...), where we see successes as a result of that encounter that we long for so much, in that fit of the two disciplines that we want to cross, -as races of the same species-, which at first glance seem irreconcilable: art and gastronomy.

and it is in this exercise of witnessing the similarity of the process that in each one of them operates in the creative steps that take place in their evolution, where I am constantly surprised by how much -genetically speaking- they are linked: in the textures of their surfaces, edges, colors and destinations for which they were created.

Sometimes I feel that this divorce that separates them responds to interests that I neither understand nor are worth understanding, because I find the challenge of joint work much more gratifying for which the nature of each of them responds: concave and convex , contents and continents.

and it is in that beauty of the encounter, that communion of destinies, - sometimes - where I perceive in an almost clear way, the foundation of my search and I solace myself in that elusive certainty ...

I even assume with gratitude, the role that I have to play in this conciliation of parts, because I end up being integrated into each of them, in that evolutionary game where roles are diluted to form a single act: the creative act itself, and that provides a lot of happiness.

Not all has been said, ... in any way, ... just timidly glimpses of luminosity begin to appear, promising me timid answers to big questions, ... but something is something ... and I continue browsing ...
